MOREDRAW の代表でありフォトグラファーの Mathieu Moindron（モアンドロン マチュ） による写真作品「Night Shift」が、世界的な写真賞である Sony World Photography Awards 2026 の Professional部門に入賞しました。

Sony World Photography Awards は、世界中の優れた写真作品を表彰する国際的な写真賞として知られており、プロフェッショナルから新進気鋭の写真家まで幅広い作品が応募される、世界有数のフォトコンペティションです。

受賞作品「Night Shift」は、仙台の夜に撮影された写真シリーズです。昼間には見過ごされがちな都市の風景は、夜になるとまるで舞台のような存在感を帯びます。人の流れが止まった空間の中で、建築や機械、わずかに灯る窓の光が、まるでそれ自体が主役であるかのように静かに佇みます。
本作は、夜の都市空間に潜む静かな緊張感と、人の不在が生み出す独特の風景を捉えています。

このシリーズは、モアンドロン・マチュによるパーソナルワークとして制作されたものです。MOREDRAWでは映像やクリエイティブ制作を中心に活動する一方で、写真による表現活動も継続的に行っています。

The Sony World Photography Awards is one of the world’s most prestigious photography competitions, celebrating outstanding work from photographers across the globe. Each year, the awards recognize exceptional images from both established professionals and emerging talents.

“Night Shift” is a photographic series shot at night in Sendai, Japan.
Urban environments that often go unnoticed during the day take on a theatrical presence after dark. Once the flow of people stops, architecture, machinery and a few lit windows quietly remain, almost as if they were the main actors on a stage.
The series captures the quiet tension of urban spaces at night and the unique landscapes created by the absence of people.

This project was created as part of Mathieu Moindron’s ongoing personal photographic work. Alongside his work in film and creative production through MOREDRAW, he continues to pursue photography as an independent artistic practice.
